When I recently read online Roger S. Schulz’s 2004 article “Homosexuality and deconstructionism: De Sade, Foucault and the Postmodern Mind”, I leant that in truth , the homosexual agenda is a revolutionary one and seeks to overthrow the Biblical foundation for human society.
The Christian worldview, according to Schulz, rests on the doctrine of Creation. Elsewhere this is advanced as Creation theory, or Christian Science, to contrast it with the Darwinian theory of evolution , or evolutionary science.
According to the Creation doctrine, God created the Universe, with the Earth as the home of biological order, of which humanity was or is central. Within this order, God established a social and moral order.
He fashioned the biological order with Adam (male) and Eve (female) at its centre and gave each specific roles within this order. He emphasized fruitfulness and dominion over all creation.
God did not end there. Schulz writes that God ordained multiple spheres of authority in human society (family, church, state), and the family is a central building block. As revolutionaries, homosexuals and lesbians vehemently reject the existence of God and this God-ordained authority.
This is not surprising. Schulz reminds us that historically, “revolutionaries have always attacked God’s established order. In the Communist Manifesto (1848), Marx was clearly hostile to the family, which he considered an instrument for controlling wealth, a prop for the capitalist order.2 Marx’s first advocate in America was Victoria Woodhull (1838-1927), a notorious feminist, free-love advocate and quirky spiritualist, who advocated the abolition of marriage”.
By attacking the family and defying the Biblical sexual order, moderns seek a “world of their own creation. They resent any world they never made. However, there is an inherently self-destructive end to modern philosophy, for as Proverbs 8:36 teaches, “All they that hate me love death.”
According to Rushdoony cited by Schultz (2004), the “first self-consciously modern man” was Marquis de Sade (1740-1814).5 A French pornographer and sexual libertine, de Sade was notorious for his hatred of God, his sacrilegious debauchery and eagerness to shock people, and his final insanity.
He spent considerable time in prison (including the Bastille) for his perverse behavior and gave his name to “sadism” – the deriving of pleasure from hurting others. De Sade’s philosophy is sometimes called “amoralism” because of its absence of moral absolutes and ethical imperatives (Schulz, 2004).
Rushdoony demonstrates that de Sade’s amoralism arose from rebellion against God. Seeing freedom from God as a “moral absolute,” he rebelled against God and pursued an “ethical anarchism.”
A consistent rebel, de Sade also attacked the created order and defied traditional notions of propriety and sin. He had to follow his desires and pursue pleasure, no matter what it involved.
De Sade pursued perversity, filth, and corruption – anything that was “the antithesis of the good and the holy.” The basic nature of the modern spirit, Rushdoony concludes, is “pure perversity.”6
De Sade’s rebellion against God was carried further by Michael Foucault (1926-1984), also a Frenchman like De Sade, who was a prolific writer on diverse topics and dynamic intellectual. Foucault may be said to be the foremost crusader of postmodernism and deconstructionism.
Schulz describes him as “a notoriously debauched homosexual who loved San Francisco’s sadomasochist scene, Foucault died of AIDS”. I have all along known Foucault as a writer and intellectual and did not have the slightest idea that he was a homosexual whose postmodernism and deconstruction was aimed at rebelling against God with regard to sex family, ethics, morality and spirituality.
Schulz write that to Foucault absolute truth did not exist, since he believed that truth was contextually determined, based upon one’s historical and cultural environment. “Power is knowledge” was a famous Foucaultian maxim; he argued that “knowledge” and “truth” were controlled by those wielding power.
He adds, “Foucault was particularly critical of the state, which controlled access to knowledge, engineered the intellectual structure of a society, and ultimately sought to control individuals.
Actually, Schulz records that Foucault applied his theories to the ethical realm, especially regarding sexuality. Having been diagnosed as “sick” and “abnormal” because of his homosexuality, he argued that sexual morality was an artificial construction.
He believes that archaic and repressive systems of ethics must not be used to condemn the individual or restrict his pursuit of pleasure. In other words, for him, homosexuality was uninhibited pursuit of pleasure free of God’s restrictions – liberty overstretched.
However, since it is rebellion against God’s view of sex, it is a pathway to death of those who pursue pleasure though it but most seriously to their genealogies. Homosexuality denies those who practice it existence in the long term in the genetics of the world since they prescribe extinction of their genealogies.
Ultimately it is as if they never existed since they don’t produce children. Schulz has observed that many postmodernists are self-consciously revolutionary. For many radicals, the enemy is “heterosexism”, which they see as a a system used to oppress “women and sexual minorities” – and the goal is a revolution against the “phallocracy.”.
Most of the radicals against heterosexism are found in institutions of higher learning. Schulz concludes his article by calling upon Christians to defend the Word of God and the social order He has ordained, and remembers to cite Rushdoony who notes,
“The homosexual faith will prevail unless the priority of … Jesus Christ, and His law word are established and extended.”
It is moral, ethical and spiritual and cultural struggle that must be pursued to conquer the homosexual and lesbian agenda. The radicals, spurred by the hatred of God by De Sade and homosexual Michael Foucault are determined to exploit poverty, money and corrupt power to spread their religion of perverted sex and their anti-God, anti-Christ philosophy.
Their religion is definitely radicalism against heterosexism, which is God’s programme of perpetuation of humanity well into the future. If the Devil or Satan came to destroy humanity, which he never put in place, then through homosexuality and lesbianism he has a formidable tool, whose destruction is subtle, unlike the destruction we are witnessing Russia rein on Ukraine.
It denies young generations from reproducing themselves. Humanity, is however, lucky that other spiritual unions such as Islam and Buddhism entirely resist homosexuality and lesbianism.
Nevertheless, homosexuals and lesbians are not bothered because their radicalism and revolution is against God and everything that owes its presence in human society because of what they consider his dictatorship.
If Christianity is to survive, homosexuals and lesbians, who have moved a step further to advocate for single sex marriages as a human right, must be completely removed from churches. How can homosexuals and lesbians who are anti-God genuinely preach the Word of God without polluting it and misleading worshippers away from God?
