The National Unity Platform flag bearer Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine has this afternoon cheated death after security officers fired live bullets to his vehicle in Jinja district where he was scheduled to hold his presidential campaign rally.
According to Bobi Wine, he believes that today’s bullets were aimed at finishing him . I want answers from the EC to tell us who exactly is in charge of the electoral process.
“The intent is clear, it’s like the police has been asked to finish my life and my colleagues’ Bobi Wine Stated.
While addressing the journalists, Presidential candidate Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert has announced a planned meeting with the Electoral Commission Chairman Simon Byabakama tomorrow Wednesday 2nd December, seeking answers on who exactly is running the ongoing presidential elections.
Bobi also revealed that he is to engage the EC to have a say on the prevailing violence on his supporters and the unacceptable behaviour of the armed forces.
“They are killing people wherever we are going. 5 people were killed yesterday as we campaigned in Mukono. Over 100 Ugandans were also killed a fortnight ago and the EC is not saying anything,” Bobi Wine said.
It’s time the international community to take action otherwise we are back in to idi Amin’s regime of military governance
