Faded city socialite as well as Museveni promoter Bryan White real names Brian Kirumira has been arrested on allegations of obtaining goods by false pretense, something that has forced his creditors to storm the Directorate of Criminal Investigations headquarters.
Some of the people who have flocked the CID headquarters include Brian White’s landlord and the chairman of the ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) in Eastern Uganda Captain Mike Mukula who claims he demands SHs1Billion from the malnourished faded socialite.

According to CID spokesperson, Assistant Superintendent of Police Charles Twine, Brian White is being detained over obtaining vehicles by false pretense.
The Interpol tracked the vehicles but were not cleared by their country of destination as required by the new international standards. However, later it was found out that this was used as a decoy to impound the vehicles.
“He says he got vehicles from one Yassah Matovu Seguya and made all payments and provided receipt of payment in the banks. But the receipts he provided are said to be those of earlier transactions, which brings in an element that before he got the cars he had premeditated mind with intent to defraud Seguya of his goods,” ASP Twine said.
Police raided Kirumira’s home in Buziga in Makindye on Friday morning and impounded two vehicles. The third car was tracked and intercepted along Entebbe Road.
Each vehicle costs around Shs350m.
Detectives want to establish how Mr Kirumira came into possession of the luxurious cars.
This is the second time police are conducting a related operation at Mr Kirumira’s home in just one year.
In July 2018, police raided the socialite’s home and impounded a luxurious Mercedes Benz Cross Country on allegations that he acquired it fraudulently.
It was alleged that Mr Kirumira bought a Mercedes Benz Cross Country and paid only US$100,000 of US$250,000 (about Shs930,146,032).
He allegedly promised to pay the balance, which he did not, prompting the former owner to report a criminal case of obtaining goods by false pretence against Mr Kirimira.
Captain Mukula told detectives that Kirumira took his two vehicles and promised to pay a balance of about Shs200 million but didn’t.
Mr Kirumira’s landlord also appeared at CID and asked police officers to help him get his Shs500 million in rent arrears and also evict him from his home.
ASP Twine said they are looking into the cases.
Efforts to get a comment from Mr Kirumira about the incident were futile because he was still being grilled by detectives by the time of filing this story.
Comment: this guy should be charged accordingly because he acted stupidly with his cash
