As the 2021 general elections nears, Busiki constituency is one to watch as Jinja based NBS radio journalist and People power co-coordinator for Namutumba Dabada Yusuf moves to defy odds to dislodge NRM leaning Paul Akamba who was among the champion men of removing the controversial age-limit article 102B from the constitution.
Paul Akamba went as independent in the previous elections after loosing to the then Asupasa Mpongo. He’s running on the NRM ticket battling with former Iganga boy’s Head teacher and proprietor of Jinja Central Primary school Fred Kasisa.
Dabada Yusuf is already endorsed by Bobi wine’s National Unity Platform, he joined active politics in 2016 when he joined the race for male District youth councillor and won both in NRM primaries and general elections. He was later appointed the finance secretary of Namutumba district local government for two and a half years by the district chairperson Hajji Kumbuga Saleh but was later dropped dumping NRM for People power.
Due to a desire and need for fighting equality, High poverty levels, Unemployment and all the other policies set by government to oppress the majority Ugandans, he’s now destined to contest for MP representing the people of Busiki county in Namutumba District.
Comment:DABADA YUSUFU Is still immature coz we supported him to go for District youth councilor in Namutumba,he succeeded bt nothing he did.is after money,he was just fighting with his colleagues even eating money for youth.so he need to style up.Akamba Paul 2021.
