Ministry of health has been dealt a huge blow after the death of it’s other senior officer who has died this evening from in Kikuube district in Bunyoro sub region.
Dr Nyaise Nelson the District Health Officer of Kikuube District has reportedly succumbed to heart failure this evening after battling the disease for some time and has been receiving treatment from a local hospital in Kikuube.

His death comes at the heels of another senior District Health Officer (DHO) of Masindi District Dr Jino Abiriga who was brutally murdered in cold blood.
Upon carrying out investigations and interrogating his Wife Betty Cherotic, she confirmed to have hired killers who ended killed him and dumped his body 50 meters away from his residence. Cherotic according to investigators told them that she killed killed because of over cheating and he used to say she wasn’t romantic enough in bed.
This now brings the total number of two District Health Officers (DHOs) who have died in Bunyoro sub-region in a space of just two weeks. The other third DHO in the same region Dr Mutyaba Imaam of Kiryandongo resigned and staff bade farewell to him as he urged them to work so hard
