Sad news reaching our desk indicate that security minister General Elly Tumwine has breathed his last from a Kenyan hospital where he has been battling with illnesses yet to be revealed to the public.
Tumwine who is among the first 27 Museveni kadogos who attacked Kabamba army barracks that sparked off a five year bush war in Luwero that brought Museveni’s now 36 year government.
The tough speaking General has been battling with sickness for some time and has been in and out of hospitals until the days when he has breathed his last. At the time of his death, Tumwine was among Museveni’s senior advisors.
