Uganda’s Minister of Gender, Labour and Social development in Museveni’s cabinet and also Kibale East legislator Frank Kajiji Tumwebaze has blasted Kenyan media over a Bobi wine arrest headline causing mixed reactions.

Tumwebaze who has already gained bragging rights in the 11th parliament after being declared unopposed in Kibale East for the forthcoming 2021 general elections has through his Twitter handle thrown jibes at Standard Newspaper in a headline that demeaned his boss Tibuhaburwa.

Following Bobi wine’s arrest in Luuka early this week that sparked turmoil and unrest in the city and other major towns, it caught attention of international media but seems the headline “GHETTO PRESIDENT BRINGS OUT THE UGLY BEAST IN MUSEVENI” by the standard didn’t go well with Museveni’s minister.

He furiously posted, telling the entire Kenyan media to stay in their lane than attacking his boss who is in his securing the future themed campaign wants to extend his rule to 40 years.

“Dear Kenyan media @StandardKenya if u r interested in covering Ugandan affairs take time to understand them holistically. If that is difficult for u, then Better concentrate on ur endless #BBI/ #Handshake squabbles. Ugandans know Museveni better than u are trying to describe him”- Tweeted Tumwebaze
