An identified woman has given birth when she was being rushed for futher medical attention in a boat in Jinja district in Jinja town.
Baba Tv reports that the incident happened in Masese division at Masese landing site when a woman who was being transported from the island of Kisima in Jinja delivered from a boat and the baby died instantly.
This prompted the Jinja municipality mayor Majid Batamuze to call an ambulance which arrived the the baby had already died but the mother was rushed to hospital to further medical attention.
Masese is one of the large center in Jinja and the government should see a way of opening atleast abigger health center at the place like HCIV.
