Breaking News: Museveni Drops Akol From Uganda Revenue Authority

Amidst the Corona Virus scourge in Uganda, President Museveni has dropped Mrs Doris Akol who has been the Commissioner general at Uganda Revenue Authority and replaced her with John Musinguzi Rujoki.

The President also appointed Dr Michael Atingi-Ego as the new Deputy Governor, Bank of Uganda replacing Dr Louis Kasekende whose contract expired in January 2020.

He has made these announcements via his tweeter account.

  1. The concern of the president about this corona pandemic is a great deal for Ugandans, so my appeal to us all is to heed to the president’s directives and save from the pandemic. The only issues are some people with personal interests beating up others, confiscating their items, imposing uncalled for curfews, using this situation for policticing. All these things should be seen as undermining the president’s struggle and good will to save Ugandans. May GOD protect you all and the entire world.
