New reaching Ultimate News indicate that the embattled General Henry Tumukunde who has been in Luzira on remand has been granted a non cash bail of UGX50 million.
The former spy master has been behind bars for after being arrested by military from his Kololo mansion on 13th March 2020 on charges of treason after declaring his presidential ambitions on 3rd March 2020.
Later his two sons along with Tororo North county legislator Annet nyakecho were also arrested and later released.
His release comes at a time when he informed court that he had failed to get surities who must be of the same rank with him or above a condition that seemed to be impossible as non of the officers above his rank were willing to bail him out.
