Last Sunday, the country shocked by the murder of Eng Daniel Bbosa who was the head of Buganda’s Ndiga Clan.
Lomwa Bbosa met his tragic end when assailants opened fire on his car as he was branching to his home in Lungujja around 5:30pm. Unlike before, brave boda boda’s pursued the three killers, apprehended two and managed to beat them ‘properly’, one died on spot and another survived and is in Mulago hospital receiving treatment and the 3rd one escaped.

Ndiga clan is one of the 52 known clans of Buganda which are all well documented with clan heads and structured leadership. Going by the norm, a new clan leader is announced before the deceased is buried.
Members of the Ndiga clan have today presented to Katikiro Charles Peter Mayiga their new clan head. The new Ndiga clan boss is Eria Luggya Lwasi Buzaabo who has been the premier of his Ndiga clan.
Katikiro will now introduce the new Lwomwa (clan boss) to the Kabaka in respect of the Buganda clan and cultural norms. His unveiling at Mengo will now commence the burial arrangements of Lwomwa Eng Daniel Bbosa.
