In his statement regarding the shooting of the Buganda’s Ndiga Clan head Lomwa Eng Daniel Bbosa, Kampala Metropolitan police deputy spokesperson revealed that the assailants were riding on a motorcycle registratin number UEX 754E.
“Furthermore, we have recovered the firearm allegedly used in the murder incident, along with the motorcycle number UEX 754E, utilized by the assailants during the attack. These finding will be instrumental in our ongoing investigation”-said Luke Owoyesigyire
They were pursued by very courageous boda boda guys who were joined by charged locals, these managed to apprehend two assailants of the three. They were beaten to pulp one died on spot while the other who survived the wrath of the charged locals is in hospital responding to treatment.
However, according to police spokesperson Fred Enanga, the assailants altered the number plate of the motorcycle they used in the attack to cover up and be able to escape incase CCTV captured them.
Enanga said the motorcycle of HAOJUE make with registration number UFX854F had it’s number plates altered by the assailants who used a masking tape to change F to an E and 8 to 7.
