Following an announcement by opposition politicians that they will be planting banana suckers and other things in Kampala’s potholed roads, RCC Burora and police made it clear to them that their planned protests won’t happen.

Indeed the protests in Kampala didn’t take off as planned as army, police caged Bobi Wine, Besigye and Lukwago were caged with in the confines of their homes. Speaking to media about the deployment, Kampala Metropolitan police spokesperson Patrick Onyango said cops will continue keeping the caged politicians under siege until the intelligence informs them that it’s now necessary to let them enjoy their freedom.

In a dramatic turn of events, Bobi Wine escaped from house detention only to be seen in the city and parts of Katwe planting banana suckers in pot holes but in tight marking by his bodyguards Eddy Mutwe and others.

However, the NUP principal has never gone back home since Friday 19th as police mount search for him everywhere in the city such that they take him back into his house detention. They’re yet to locate him.

Taking to his social media handles, Bobi Wine said that police and army have increased on the number of soldiers manning his gate as they closely monitor what is happening inside his home.

According to Bobi Wine, police has even got tents and mobile toilets for the cops something that shows they’re not living his home anytime soon until they arrest and bring him back forcefully.

“Meanwhile since last night, they increased deployment all around our home. The police and military mounted new roadblocks, brought mobile toilets and put up tents. Am told they’re looking for me everywhere to take me back into house arrest. Naye mufaaki?”-Bobi Wine posted.

As police continue searching for his whereabouts, Bobi Wine even attended church as Jinja Kalori in Kawempe he’s also seen in some photos chilling with buddies having lunch in Kabowa.

According to the opposition’s plan of activities, they’re set to be in Iganga tomorrow at Iganga municipal council primary school for join prayers and will proceed to Lira City at Mayor gardens on Tuesday 23rd still for joint prayers.
