Revealing via his X former Twitter account, the president says after consultations from the NAM stake holders, they found out that testing for Covid-19 exposes people’s DNA to third parties which is dangerous for their security and delegates will now not be required to test for Covid-19.

The venue being built by tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia is in it’s final stages and will be handed over to government on 10th January 2024, 5 days ahead of he event. In preparation, government has since withdrawn high end vehicles from it’s ministers, directors and commissioners to be used to transport the delegates.

In the present day Uganda since the invasion of the killer Covid-19 in early 2020 in Uganda, every person who gets chance of meeting the president or attending an event where the president is a guest must be tested for Covid-19 by his health team but this won’t be the norm again ahead of the NAM Summit 2024.
