Patrick Kanyomozi one of th Comic tweeps and sports journalist Patrick Kanyomozi has thrown in the towel after 13 years at Daily Monitor’s KFM. Patrick who served as the president of Uganda Sports Press Association USPA for two terms has made a name especially on social media where he throws jibes here and there to the government of President Museveni.

Posting on his X former tweeter account, Kanyomozi revealed that today he made his last appearance at KFM as he retires from radio and active journalism which he has practiced since his senior six vacation because he had te passion for radio and he’s grateful he has lived his dream. He has also been co-hosting NTV sport Knights, a popular sports program that replaced Andrew Kabula’s Pressbox.
“I made my final appearance on 933KFM this morning as i retire from radio and active journalism. I leave a very contented man because from a very young age, all i ever wanted to do was to be a radio presenter, i was lucky to get my first job in my S6 vacation and never looked back. I have lived my dream. I give glory to the most high.”-Kanyomozi posted
Last week, former NTV journalist Joel Ssenyonyi fell in things as he was elevated by his party from being the chairperson of COSASE where he has fairly performed to being the new Leader of Opposition in parliament replacing veteran politician Mathias Mpuuga.
At the time of his appointment to the biggest office, Ssenyonyi who also serves as the Nakawa west legislator was the National Unity Platform (NUP) spokesperson from the time it was still people power through even the transition to the political party left this Spokesperson position vacant and he has been deputized by the vocal Waiswa Alex Mufumbiro.
However, sources reveal Patrick just like how Ssenyonyi left Nation Media to join active politics, Kanyomozi is set to replace Ssenyonyi as the new party spokesperson of the National Unity Platform as Mufumbiro retains of deputy party spokesperson and if nothing changes, he will soon be unveiled by the Secretary General and party president Bobi Wine.
