After getting the shock of his life, the disappointed man has now applied for the cancellation of the children’s passports as he files to divorce the wife.
Speaking during the Security weekly joint press, Simon Mundeyi the Ministry of Internal Affairs spokesperson revealed that 34 men have written to the Directorate of Citizenship and Immigration Control (DCIC) demanding the cancellation of Children’s passports after DNA tests showed they are not the biological fathers.
According to Mundeyi, the man was prompted to take the six children for DNA analysis when he had a quarrel with his wife and her slipped and she mentioned that some of the children were not his.
The wife would later apologize saying that she made the statement out of anger but the man went ahead to conduct secret DNA test at the Directorate of Government Analytical Laboratory (DGAL).
When the results were out, he contested them, but being a person of mean, we advised him to take samples to others laboratories. He took some samples to Canada and others to South Africa. All the samples confirmed what our DGAL had found out- none of the six children was his”-Mundeyi revealed
Mundeyi advised men to take their children for DNA tests at the Government Analytical Laboratory (DGAL) instead of the pieces of hair which they pluck from their children and flock the Ministry of Internal affairs for DNA tests before he said DCIC can not cancel passports unless the complainants go to the National Identification Registration Authority (NIRA) and change the details.
