Defeated Mawokota north MP Hilderman Kiyaga says that he is the legitimate MP for that area because he defeated Amelia Kyambadde of NRM with a difference of more than 7,000 votes.
Kiyaga says that his evidence is based on what minister Haruna Kasolo told him in his capacity as the NRM chairman for Buganda.
Kiyaga says that Kasolo called him on phone on the evening of voting day after votes had been counted and congratulated him that he had won and defeated Amelia with 7000 votes and pleaded with him to ignore everything as NRM steals the opposition victory for the position of Mawokota south through Susan Nakawuki and that of woman MP.
Hilderman says that Kasolo wanted him to demobilize NUP supporters not to put up a fight as Teddy Nambooze’s victory is stolen for woman MP in favor of the NRM candidate.
Hilderman now says that tables were turned on him in favour of Amelia Kyambadde because people manning the NRM rigging machine in Buganda wanted to punish him because he refused to sacrifice Teddy Nambooze who is his fellow NUP MP from Mpigi.
Hilderman made this confession in a meeting with a group of catholic priests as he asked for their support to destroy Amelia Kyambadde saying she stole his vote.
Amelia Kyambadde has threatened to take Hilderman to court if he doesn’t stop abusing and calling her a wrinkled old woman at public functions. Saying enough is enough now. She says that Hilderman is a very ugrateful paupper who she used to help a few years ago when he barely had anything.
