Gone are days when stealing was a sin and continues to be a sin since it’s the 8th commandment in the bible as seen in the book of Exodus 20:2-17 and also in Deuteronomy5:6-21, these days people kill, steal and even steal from God the almighty.
In quite a bizarre action, a man in his 30s is trending not for good reasons but for the wrong reasons because he broke into the house of the Lord and stole church equipment amount to over Shs20 million.

He’s seen on the CCTV footage released when making a thorough search in the church, he stole 5 laptops, one desktop computer, one flood light mixer and a TV screen. The incident happened at Living Word Assembly Church at plot 21 Lumumba Avenue in Kampala just recently.
According to the Kampala Metropolitan Police Spokesperson Patrick Onyango, the thieves used the rare part of the church by outstretching the tent to gain entry into the sanctuary. He says police was notified and responded a case of church breaking and theft was registered and detectives visited the scene of crime and retrieved the CCTV footage for analysis.
“We are calling upon members of the public who can identify the person in the footage below to pass the information in confidence to the nearest police, Wandegeya police station or call 0775436756, 0800199399, 999/112”- Onyango appealed to the public.
This comes just few days after thieves broke into Nswanjere Catholic Seminary, stole property and injured Rev Father Emmanuel Mukukule and Bro John Bosco Mwaasa.
