Speaker Anita Among last year in November expressed disappointment to members of parliament and warned them against leaking parliament and committee reports before they are discussed by the house.
In doing this she was indirectly hitting at Nakawa west legislator Joel Ssenyonyi who was accused of leaking his COSASE report on Uganda airlines to some media houses in Uganda some thing that was considered unethical and unprofessional.
Early this month, Ssenyonyi came out to defend himself on the delay to table the Uganda airlines report where his committee exposed a lot of flaws at the national airline including hiring of unprofessional staff.

According to Ssenyonyi he handed the report to speaker Anita Among last year in September but for reasons known to her, she decided to sit on it claiming to be studying but while in actual sense playing a defensive mechanism for Jennifer Bamuturaki whom the COSASE committee found with a lot of irregularities at the Uganda airlines.
However, due to time constraints the Uganda airlines report was not presented to parliament and speaker sighted a leakage of the report by Ssenyonyi and it was adopted alongside other reports by the members.

This didn’t go well with Ssenyonyi who accused Anita Among of being jealousy by the current COSASE’s speed in executing it’s duties and doing investigations in time unlike her (Anita Among) who together with Bugweri county legislator Abdul Katuntu handled Bank of Uganda for over 8 months and their report was never of impact to the issues raised.
“Madam Speaker,when you led COSASE, for 5 months you handled one BOU report&Speaker Kadaga extended your term to finish it, atleast for us we’ve done 5 entities in one yr. I’m not sure what became of that BOU report! Mpozi nekilala,why don’t you want us to table the Airlines report?”- tweeted Ssenyonyi.
