In Busoga way back in Uganda, there’s a saying that states that “You joke with other things but a woman and land should be spared at all costs”, this seems to be the opposite in the Samia Land of Busia county of Kenya where two men agreed to swap their wives and an official handover Celemony was held to prove the seriousness of the matter.

Lilian Weta, 28, a mother of three and Millicent auma,29, other of two who were engaged in the swap deal said they took quite an un-usual step over what they termed as incessant quarrels that destabilized their marriages.
To cut the long story, Ms Weta confesses that she was forced to seek love elsewhere after her marriage it a dead rock when her husband identified as Kevin Barasa married another woman who in this case is Mrs Auma a month ago prompted Ms Weta to marry her abandoned husband identified as Christopher Abwire who formalized the marriage few weeks ago.
