Over the weekend National Unity Platform principal Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu was in Kayunga not for a political rally but to attend the burial of Ntenjeru South MP Patrick Nsanja Mabirizi’s father Mzee Ssebuliba James who was laid to rest.
The function was attended by several political figures from his National Unity platform (NUP) and other parties like NRM and notable among these was NRM’s Moses Kalangwa who is a famous business man owning the only radio station in Kayunga called Sauti FM, Petrol stations among other businesses.
Kalangwa is the Chairperson of NRM in Kayunga district also vied for the NRM CEC party chairperson in charge of Buganda but was thumped hands down by former tourism minister Godfrey Kiwanda Suubi.
The famous business man is accused of being notorious, lethal and a hard nut to crack when it comes two things; Elections (votes) and Land. He’s accused to be among the top land grabbers in Kayunga leaving many people landless and often times former Minister Aidah Nantaba Elios has pointed fingers at him for being behind her political and life woes.

When he got the microphone, Bobi Wine recognized Moses Kalangwa saying he’s happy to be meeting him for his very first time which made the NRM district boss happy and was seen smiling ear to ear but what followed erased his smile in just seconds.
“Am very happy that i have met Mr. Kalangwa, it’s my first time to meet him. When you hear people talking about the atrocities he mets on people, you may think he’s an ugly man but he’s a handsome guy when he smiles. This means the atrocities he does can stop and we live in a country even when we disagree politically, we should agree to uphold human rights for every one”- Bobi Wine said in a clip making rounds on social media.
As Bobi Wine continued with his speech, Kalangwa would be seen wondering how on earth a man can destroy him like that in his own jurisdiction where he has the powers and influence.
