Over the weekend, the speaker of parliament met with the Pope in Vatican for the third time in a row meeting the holly father many times than several arch bishops in the catholic church not only in Uganda but in Africa.
The speaker first met the holly father in 2022, then 2023 and the recent one last Saturday when she made her third appearance there. During her second visit in a video that went viral, she was heard telling the Pope to pray for her pregnancy.
“I am also pregnant, i want you to bless my child”- Anita Among told the pope and the Holly Father also responded with a sign of the cross on her belly.

She delivered the twins three months after meeting the Holly father. During her third visit this last weekend, Anita Among who’s facing sanctions and pressure at home over corruption in the parliament she leads took the twins for blessings from the pope.
It should be recalled that the Speaker Anita Among married Budiope East legislator also FUFA president Eng Moses Magogo. The speaker is a staunch Catholic and Magogo is a staunch Moslem with other wives. She has never moved with him to Vatican to meet the pope.
