Its designed to house all the presidency offices, especially the resident district commissioner and the Deputy ’s office, The district Internal security office among others.
During the offices commissioning at Thatha Division on April 3, 2024, The Resident District commissioner Nebbi Robert Abak , Commended the government and Nebbi district council for allocating the land for the president offices.
” We commend the district because when I went to the office of the presidency . I was tasked to acquire land for the project. I’m so happy to say that the district indeed allocated for us land where the building is standing on and they stood by our side when some encroachers attempted to sue us after he accused us of encroachment” Abak stressed.
The structure sits on slightly an acre of land but apparently lacks fences and pavements. The LCV chairperson of Nebbi Emmanuel Orombi has appealed to the ministry of Presidency headed by Milly Babalanda to consider the fencing of the magnificent structure.
