National Unity Platfrom boss Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu alias Bobi Wine is at parliament today for an opposition event in the precincts of parliament.
Bobi Wine who has already arrived parliament is joining the opposition MPs led by Leader of Opposition Hon Joel Ssenyonyi, Opposition Chief Whip John Baptist Nambeshe among others to launch the opposition’s alternative budget priorities.
Today as the Opposition in Parliament we present to the Nation our Alternative Budget, whose theme is combating corruption and promoting efficient service delivery.

The presentation of the alternative budget priorities is done under the office of the Leader of Opposition and it happens every year the National Budget reading around March or April when ministries have presented their ministerial policy statements.
This is Bobi Wine’s first visit to parliament since appointing Joel Ssenyonyi as Leader of Opposition last year in December. He’s also expected to bump into the embattled Commissioner of Parliament Mathias Mpuuga whom he fired from being the party’s Deputy President for Buganda region if he joins his opposition colleagues.
