Yesterday president Museveni before president Museveni presided over the swearing on the new minister he appointed last, he was at Kololo independence grounds for another important event.

The event at Kololo was a dua for prayers and also the official launch of Salaam Bank which is the first bank Licensed to do Islamic Banking in Uganda. The event was organized and championed by Hajjat Hadijjah Uzeiye Namyalo who heads the Office of the National Chairman in Kyambogo.
Today, I joined my Bazukulu Muslims at Kololo for dua prayers and also launched Salaam Bank, Uganda's first-ever licensed Islamic Banking institution.

However, hell broke loose later in the evening when the president left as the fasting Muslims scrambled for free pilawo which had been prepared for the dua attendants. As the fight for who takes some pilawo for Iftar, SFC cops started clobbering Muslims without fear or favor but with flavor.
In a video making rounds on social which has elicited mixed reactions, people are wondering how on top of fasting, Muslims were treated with Kiboko after listening to the president at Kololo.
