Dortmund are fourth, one point ahead of RB Leipzig, as they chase a berth in the next Champions League, while in this season’s competition they are aiming for a quarter-final spot after drawing 1-1 in Eindhoven in the first leg.
Dortmund hope that Sancho can help them reach these goals as the 23-year-old aims to rebuild his career after not playing in many months at United after falling out with manager Erik ten Hag.
