In the news this morning, Lubaga Residential City Commissioner Herbert Anderson Burora was last evening suspended from his duties over yet to be known reasons.
Many are attributing his suspension to his recent comments on the extravagance and mismanagement of public funds at Parliament by the speaker Hon Annette Anita Among on the instigation of the Uganda Parliament Exhibition which has unearthed a series of transactions orchestrated by the powerful woman from Bukedea District.

Burora went ahead to suggest that Anita Among should step aside and allow an audit into the works of Parliament especially transactions which are in billions attributed to her but received by her close junior staff.
According to Burora he wonders how URA IS tough and even sends people to jail over tax non-compliance but the people who would be advocating for proper use of tax payer’s money are instead on the receiving end splashing it aimlessly.
His suspension comes one day after Anita Among held a meeting with president Museveni on Wednesday evening as pressure piles on her to explain her involvement in this massive extravagance at Parliament in her name.
The opposition shadow cabinet in their press conference early this week gave an ultimatum to Among to recall the House from recess to come back and discuss many issues at hand including corruption which has put the house in spotlight. They were later joined by the famous rebel MPs who also called on the speaker to call the house from recess.
She yesterday bowed to pressure and recalled the house back from recess and today Parliament will resume plenary, we await what will transpire.
Anderson Burora is the second Museveni RCC to be suspended in a period of two weeks, first it was Waiswa Paul bweni Bwa Mwiko of Luuka district who was suspended by Hajji Yunus Kakande the PS for the presidency after he appeared in a video assaulting a young man for reportedly refusing to wash his vehicle.
He previously served as the Nakawa Division RCC and was moved in the 2022 reshuffle of RDCs to Lubaga but with in Kampala.
