At the instigation of the Parliament Exhibition, quite a lot of documents leaked have exposed several unknown information particularly regarding the line of transactions attributed to the speaker of parliament Annet Anita Among.
Much as the authenticity of the documents leaked might be questioned, at least the communications director of parliament Chris Obore has come out and admitted to some transactions especially where money is wired from the parliamentary accounts to those of junior staff at parliament on behalf of Speaker Anita Among.

Championed by Journalist Agatha Atuheire and Dr Jim Spire Ssentongo, the parliament exhibition despite being Among’s sympathizers labeling it a gay supported campaign, it has exposed a lot of corruption which has even sparked several investigations into the matter as reports by the Auditor General also drew at mismanagement of funds at parliament.
Speaker Among through several bloggers tried to fight back by claiming the documents leaked are fake but they reached a point and failed to win as the communications Director of parliament who equally comes from Bukedea came out and admitted to some documents, the struggle in the Anita Among camp is now to identify who has been leaking the documents.
Now after a powerful Museveni Deputy Residential City Commissioner Herbert Anderson Burora saying Anita Among should step down and investigated over this scheme of corruption in parliament attributed to her, former Aru county legislator Odonga Otto has said Anita Among and her Deputy should be investigated and arrested.
The exhibition leaked minutes of the parliamentary commission where former leader of opposition Mathias Mpuuga and other three commissioners allocated themselves a whooping Shs1.7bn as service award. As other commissioners are quiet, Mpuuga is facing disciplinary action by his party which is set to recall him.
In a normal country persons like @AnitahAmong and @Thomas_Tayebwa would be removed from their offices, struck off their privileges/immunities, assets impounded and sent to prison.
In Uganda they tell @KagutaMuseveni
that the monies are being used to neutralise opposition. pic.twitter.com/cZv8EkZxVS— HON.DR.ODONGA OTTO (@OttoSam50178310) March 9, 2024
