News making headiness this afternoon indicate that several NUP bosses have been arrested by police and army from their party headquarters in Kamwokya.
The reasons behind their arrest are not yet known but our snoops report that police today morning has since morning been camping at the NUP offices after getting information that the National Unity Platform was organizing another activity at the party this day 09th October 2023 when official activities are taking place at Kololo to commemorate Uganda’s 61st independence anniversary.
It’s also set the NUP principal Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu was also set to address he media from the same gathering today as seen in the art work below.

Those arrested include the party’s spokesperson and Nakawa west legislator Joel Ssenyonyi and the party’s Secretary General David Lewis Rubongoya who are said to have been picked from the party headquarters and driven away in the famous drone as they were organizing prayers for the victims of brutality.
