Bobi Wine was in Mpigi district yesterday where he had gone to attend the sending off Eddy Mutwe’s grand mother who was laid to rest yesterday. This was his first time to move out of his home since he was grabbed off a Rwanda air plane on Thursday last week.
However, in a quite shocking move, there’s a man who was nabbed by Bobi Wine’s security, beaten and later handed over to police. It’s said that he was trailing Bobi Wine with a pistol. This has raised fears among Bobi Wine with some saying bad people might be after his life.

While in Mbarara on his countrywide tours, a UNRA vehicle was destroyed by Bobi Wine supporters where they accused it’s driver of moving with a gun in Bobi Wine’s procession, another man was seen with a pistol at Bobi Wine’s rally and police would later say they’re carrying out investigations to arrest the man.
This man has been peacefully handed over to the authorities in Mpiigi after he forcefully tried to make his way near H.E. Bobi Wine. This was after he was found in possession of a loaded pistol. It’s not yet clear why the man arrested yesterday was trailing Bobi Wine with a pistol which was later picked by police and also took him to detention but the surprising part to the NUP supporters is how the police boss handled the exhibit without gloves and unloaded the bullets at the scene of crime without a forensic audit to ascertain the details of the gun.
Police is yet to speak about the incident.
