Th NUP principal is starting with Mbarara today where he’s taking the message of hope and struggle to strangle Museveni’s regime. As a political party, NUP and other opposition parties have a right to assemble to take their messages to the masses at a point of time like this when the electoral commission has since rolled out the electoral roadmap ahead of the 2026 General elections.
Speaking to journalists today at police headquarters Nagulu, Enanga revealed that Bobi Wine and his National Unity Platform will not be allowed to hold rallies, processions during their tours and are they will only hold their political meetings in enclosed halls.

This comes one week after Museveni’s son held processions and rallies in the Teso sub-region where he had gone to popularize his MK movement which is preparing him to succeed his father’s throne in what is dubbed as the MK project.
“We also guide the territorial commanders that the activities are restricted to townhalls and other appropriately enclosed area, that means there will be no open rallies, no processions and assemblies that have the potential of disturbing the activities of the wider public”- said Enanga while issuing these directives to Bobi Wine and NUP
Bobi Wine has already reached Mbarara city and is already holding processions ahead of his busy day with activities.
