Another Ugandan legislator has been involved in a terrible accident on his way back from the constituency to the city where he represents his people from in the August house.
The legislator who is now nursing gave injuries is Solomon Cherangat Alinga who is the member of parliament for T’oo county in Bukwo district in the far East neighboring Kenya.
Alinga who is also prominent businessman was driving in his Pajero, registration number UBL 027E which collided with an oncoming Sironko bound commuter taxi at Namunsi junction along the Mbale-Muyembe highway in Mbale city.

Eye witnesses reveal the legislator, occupants in his vehicle and those in the taxi sustained injuries was rushed to Mbale regional referral hospital for medical attention but one family member told the New Vision that they were in preparations to transfer th legislator to Kampala or better medical attention.
This comes at a time when accidents have increase in Uganda almost every week over 100 people die.
