In the news this afternoon, a top Museveni ambassador has been reported dead. Ambassador Hajji Muhammad Tezikuba Kisambira has been Uganda’s head of mission in Iran since 2020. Kisambira was also accredited to Afghanistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Iraq, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Palestine, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan.
The cause of his death has not yet been revealed but reliable source say he’s been sick for some time.
Kisambira becomes the 2nd ambassador in Museveni’s government to die in a period of 6 months after Ambassador Hassan Galiwango who was head of Uganda’s mission to Kenya died at the Nairobi Hospital in Kenya on 16th January 2023.
