Amidst the bickering of Museveni’s dirty money which is said to have been imported into the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) by the party secretary general Nathan Nandala Mafabi, consequences have started biting. Four time presidential candidate Dr Kiiza Besigye Katonga-based faction have been dealt a huge blow after their vocal legislator Ssemuju was fired.
Ibrahim Ssemuju Nganda the Kira Municipality legislator alongside Mubarak Munyagwa, Nyakato Asinansi, Francis Mwijukye, among others have been giving hard time to the party secretary general Nandala Mafabi and party president Patrick Oboi Amuriat to explain the source of the evil money. Even with the Nabwiso-led Elders Committee clearing the accused of any wrong doing. The issues at hand haven’t stopped.
Now after feeling tired of Ssemuju’s rants over time who is also the FDC party spokesperson, Nandala Mafabi has fired the Kira Municpality legislator from being the FDC party Whip in parliament and replaced him with Mawokota South legislator Yusuf Nsibambi.

In a letter addressed to the Speaker of parliament signed by Nandala Mafabi that we have seen and already trending on social media,
“In accordance with section 61 (1), the Party hereby appoints Hon. Yusuf Nsibambi as the Party Whip of the Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) to replace Hon Ssemuju Ibrahim Nganda”- reads the statement in part.
This now trims Ssemuju of the positions he has been holding in FDC but remains the biting continues as the FDC party woes escalate. This comes at the back drop of an announcement by Dr Kiiza Besigye during his press conference yesterday that they will go around the country to tell FDC party members to reclaim their party from the jaws of the junta where Nandala and POA have placed it in exchange for cash.
