AHEAD OF 2026: M7’s Private Secretary Donates 180 Electric Beds To Hospitals

Katakwi: The political pressure currently for Ngariam county in Katakwi district is gaining momentum day and night as two bulls are fighting to represent the county come 2026 general elections.

Ngariam county is currently represented by Hon.Peter Ogwang the junior minister for Sports as is likely Dan Mulalu who’s president Museveni’s private secretary in charge political mobilization also eyes the same ahead of the general elections and he has since bombarded the county with many projects such as clean water, roofing more than 40 churches, repairing hundreds of boreholes, distribution of seeds, linking farmers with Kenya traders for market of their produce among others.

The most shocking wave that has caused panic and everyone is asking the financial strength of Mr.Dan Mulalu when he delivered over 180 electrical beds to Katakwi health centers and also installed solar systems to the health facilities that have been operating on give lights. The delivery of beds last week, caused excitement among the mothers who have been delivering on the floor.

“Jesus, Jesus, Jesus thanks for this boy, we had no Hope’s of giving birth from these kind of beds, God reward him,”one of the woman was hard shouting with joy.

Gerem Omoding one of the residents said the entire community has already felt  being well represented even though Mr.Mulalu is not in parliament.

“This is the sign that someone loves his people not those who first want to be voted then later go and first regain from parliament in order to deliver services”-he said.

Roger’s Okello another resident says Mulalu support was timely looking at the current situation  of poor services in the district.

This website learnt that Mulalu has also bought solar systems to install in all primary schools in Katakwi with the move to improve the quality of education in the district. He has also started identifying vulnerable children but bright such as orphans and those girls who dropped out school due to teenage pregnancies.


Speaking to this website, Mulalu roared that the development of Katakwi is through education and that he’s move is to enroll all those bright and disadvantaged children who completed primary seven and Senior  four for technical  courses.

“When you leave that group of youth unsupported they will become a burden to the district and the country but when you give some skills, they will also live happily”-he said.
