In the news this morning, former Makindye West legislator Hajji Hussein is dead according to reports. Kyanjo has succumbed to cancer which he has battling for some time now.
He has died from Kibuli hospital where he had been admitted.
Last year in April, his friends launched a fundraising drive to collect $30,000 for his cancer treatment but he was also at one moment poisoned around 2011 and this nearly took his life.
His health deteriorated during his trip to Johannesburg- South Africa when he was still MP in 2011 and he started finding difficulty in speaking until today when he rested.
At the time he was the member of parliament, he was the only legislator from his party JEEMA headed by Bugiri Municipality legislator Asuman Basalirwa who is also the only MP from his party in this 11th parliament.
