News about NUP’s Eric Mwesigwa who was seen at the Army headquarters in Mbuya making claims and changing his earlier stance that he was abducted and tortured by the Army’s Chieftaincy of Military Intelligence (CMI).
At a press briefing sanctioned by the army spokesperson Felix Kulayigye, the young man who was paraded at the NUP headquarters weeks ago claiming he’d been abducted, detained, tortured and later dumped shockingly claimed his party owns drones and safe houses.

According to Mwesigwa, he was lured into a deal by top NUP bosses to accept getting the pain and later malign the government’s image and he was promised Shs50 million in return but he says he never got even a coin from Bobi Wine and his associates at Kamwokya something that made his to unveil the truth.
This has left many people buzzing with questions with others implicating the army into forcing Mwesigwa into changing his statements to turn guns against the National Unity platform.
Despite going by Mwesigwa’s claims and promising to kick off investigations into claims of NUP’s safe houses and drones that abduct their own supporters, netizens on these streets online are not yet convinced and contented by the army’s script with Mwesigwa.
In reaction to the claims, Bobi Wine has instead unveiled an audio where Mwesigwa is told of the deal to get cash and motor cycles if he accepts to pin Bobi Wine and National Unity platform as the source of his pain and torture ordeal.
