JUST IN: Prominent NUP Politician Survives Car Crash On Entebbe Expressway

News making rounds this morning is that a prominent National Unity Platform leader has survived a car crash on the Entebbe Expressway. The man who survived Death is Makindye Mayor Al Hajji Ali Nganda Mulyanyama who was plying through the express highway in his official vehicle UBL 167K.

According to reports, the sinotruck driver lost control and rammed into the Mayor’s car which badly got damaged but God saved the mayor who was later rushed to hospital after complaining of chest pain.

This is the second known accident being caused by the famous Sino trucks after one that rammed into Kasaka Secondary school in Gomba killing four, injuring several and destroying property.

It’s barely a week since NTV journalist met his death on the same Entebbe Expressway after he lost control, knocked a sign post which caused his car to overturn several times.

Travelers plying the Entebbe express way have raised concerns regarding security with no street lights on the road which has tolls stationed on several locations and drivers pay before using the road. Police and UNRA have also on several occasions warned road users to observe and follow traffic rules and also mind about the speed.
