Bobi Wine through his socials has furiously hit at Museveni’s General Court Martial which he accuses of playing tactics to keep his supporters in jail over what he terms politically motivated charges.
The suspects who have been on remand at Kitalya Prison were brought before the general court martial which is headed by Brigadier General Robert Freeman Mugabe who took over from Gen Andrew Gutti who retired last year in December but also kept postponing and referring their bail application.
The 31 NUP supporters are accused of being in possession of Military stores. Prosecution once again objected their bail application noting that they will jeopardize the investigations and the court chairperson referred matter to 23rd of April when he will give the verdict if the suspects will be released on bail or not.
Our thirty-one supporters who have been in detention without trial for two years now were brought to the Military court martial today for yet another bail application. Unfortunately, the State resorted to its usual delay tactics. 1/3 pic.twitter.com/kjvLsgTfqJ
