Whenever the year is ending, many people make plans of where to usher into the new year from. Some enter the new year from concerts, some from churches, some from bars, some from their homes, some just move out and loitering, some just sleep and wake up to a new year.
With one day to enter the new year and police having cleared over 1300 places to enter the new year with fire works displays, pastors have already made plans to pray for their congregation in a special way for blessings ahead of the new year.

Prophet Samuel Kakande of the Synagogue Church of All nations (SCOAN) in Mulago is the talk of town after asking his congregants to pay UGX500,000 for the new year prayers with a special touch.
“Those who want to enter the new year with a special touch, you come around on 31st during day. Those who come for the special touch will pay only UGX500,000 as we’re building. Those who are interested come many, come all am waiting for you”- said pastor Kakande in a video making rounds on social media.
Pastor/ prophet Kakande has always been charging his church goers highly, this year he asked all his followers to send him $300 to enable him buy a new monster ride, in 2017 he sold holly rice to his followers and each kilogram went for UGX50,000.
