In these very pages, we revealed to you news regarding the demise of former Democratic Party president and Museveni minister Dr Paul Kawanga Ssemogerere who died today morning aged 90 years.
News of his passing on shocked every one especially from the political lines of Uganda and across the world where he left a mark with many heaping praise to his strong and deep rooted political experience that has inspired many.
According to the deceased’s young brother John Baptist Kawanga, the late DP president collapsed in his bed after his health deteriorated and was pronounced dead minutes later at around 4am from his Rubaga home.
John Baptist Kawanga further reveals that his elder brother has been battling with sickness ever since he had a successful surgery to clear an intestinal obstruction two years ago. However at around 10pm last night of 17th November 2022, he became unstable and this prompted them to call his family doctor who came and checked on his but later left.
His burial arrangements are yet to be communicated but his brother says the political icon might be rested where they all grew up in Nkumba in Busiro sub country.
