Nigerian music star Tiwa Savage says she’s being blackmailed over a sextape of herself and her partner which got leaked few days ago. The panic-stricken musician has opened up during an Interview with American OAP, Angie Mertinez of Power 105.1.
Speaking to Angie Martinez, Tiwa revealed that people close to her deliberately leaked the sextape where she was in the ‘battle at Babylon of do me I, do you with her partner’. The blackmailer got hold of it and is pestering her to pay him cash such that he doesn’t release it to the public for optical nutrition.
“It is not from some one working closely with me. What happened is that the person did it on Snap and he posted it by accident, but he quickly deleted it.
However, some one got it before he could delete it. It is a very short video, but it is me. It’s is going to be out there and I can just imagine the memes. I just found out yesterday. I could not sleep last night” narrates Tiwa.
The singer also said she tried to manage the situation but to no avail
“We tried to stall them, but I later decided that I am going to own the narrative. I am not ashamed of it: this is someone I am dating; I am not cheating neither is he. We are grownups.
I can not believe this is happening to me. I feel for my fans because they will keep defending me. I an switch off my phone or have some one run my account so I do not see that, but my fans will feel the need to protect me. I will like my fans to ignore it”
The singer hinted that the blackmailer sent the sex video of herself and her current date to her team demanding money.
Tiwa savage who is set to release her new smash hit titled “Somebody’s Son” featuring American Singer Brandy, on Tuesday also encourage her over 13 million fans who would like to protect her and defend her to let it go.
She only assured the blackmailer that she would rather leak the video herself that paying him huge cash because even after paying him, he will later after two months or years release it.
