Omoro County Member of Parliament jacob Oulanyah has been voted as the new speaker of the 11th Parliament.
Oulanyah has won with a landslide victory after gathering a maximum of 310 votes
Oulanyah has won the speakership race after defeating his former boss who doubles as the Kamuli District woman Member of Parliament Hon. Rebecca Kadaga, and FDC’s Ibrahim Semujju Nganda.
FDC’s Semujju gathed only 15votes in the house and Former speaker Kadaga gathered only 197 votes.
