As the electioneering gains momentum ahead of the 2021 general elections, Arru county legislator Odonga Otto has called upon all forces of change to rally behind Bobi wine if they are to oust Museveni from power through elections.
Otto via his Facebook page said basing on what he has so far seen, Bobi wine is a force to reckon and work with. Otto has been a long time Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) stalwart but he slammed them under unclear circumstances.
Over the previous polls, opposition have tried to unite against the incumbent but such efforts haven’t yet yielded fruits. In 2011, political parties under the Inter-Party Coalition (IPC) fronted Dr Kiiza Besigye.
However, in 2016 several political parties led by Democratic party under The Democratic Alliance (TDA) failed to agree with Besigye who was also a presidential candidate and fronted the then former premier John Patrick Amama Mbabazi.
With what I saw today youth swimming to join the BW campaign trail as police had blocked them I can say all opposition…

Calls for unity as we are headed for the 2021 general elections have always hit a dead end as the ballot is already filled with 11 candidates though basing on what we have seen so far, battle lines are soon to be drawn between the Yoweri Tibuhaburwa Museveni, Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, Patrick Oboi Amuriat and Gen Mugisha Muntu.
Unlike the previous elections, all former presidential candidates who used to battle with Museveni haven’t returned to the bid forexample: Joseph Elton Mabbirizi, Moureen Kyalya, Prof Venasius Balyamureeba, Dr Kiiza Besigye and Dr Abed Bwanika who is in the race to become member of parliament have all not contested for presidency.
