News reaching our desk indicate that Busia Municipality legislator Gofrey Macho’s body guard attached to the military police has been shot dead according to the daily monitor.
Reports indicate that the soldier identified as Ivan Kakayi met his death at a local church in Sofia village which is found in Mawero parish, Buteba subcounty in Busia district.
Details surrounding his death are still scanty and we shall be updating this story in the meantime as police and the army are yet to out statements about the incident.
