What sounds to be jocking but a serious matter reaching our news desk indicate that Budiope East legislator Geofrey Dhamuzungu who is battling FUFA’s successful president Eng Moses Magogo for the same position is feeling the heat of football boss and has resorted to witchcraft for political might.
In some photos making rounds on social media, the troubled legislator is seen requesting the spirits to help him win next week’s NRM primary polls and the main election scheduled for February next year.
Hon. Geofrey who is seeking re-election has had a disturbing tenure in parliament after surviving poison which was allegedly served to him in pork and a nasty accident which almost claimed his life in a place called Gwase which is also in found in his constituency. Now after feeling the heat from the Football boss in the country, the 33 year old legislator has resorted to Witchcraft to confuse voters who will be lining up behind their candidates in the NRM primaries set to be held next week.
In a country like Uganda which has it’s motto with the word God with capital G not small g, politicians going to the shirine to seek powers and later hold the bible while being sworn in at parliament is a mockery to the God they serve.
However when reached out by this website for a comment, the legislator denied the allegation and said the place where he was pictured undergoing witchcraft rituals is not a shrine but just a usual place where he goes for political mobilization as seen in the screen shot below.
