The speaker of Parliament Rebecca Kadaga has this evening sounded her last warning to the Eastern Uganda youth member of Parliament Hon Ishma Mafabi over his continued absence from parliament for months.
According to the rules of procedure, any legislator who misses 15 consecutive sittings of the house without the speaker’s consent automatically loses his/her seat.
Kadaga issued this stunning warning while presiding over today’s parliamentary seating in which members of parliament discussed many issues and being a Thursday its prime ministers question where MPs ask instant questions to the premier.
