In the news this evening, a crowd of sorry hovers above the National Unity Platform (NUP) after the death of the party’s deputy president for Western Region Kyomugasho Jolly Mugisha who has been ill for some time.
This terrible news has been shared by the party president Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu via his socials. According to Bobi Wine, Mrs Jolly Mugisha died from Mbarara Regional Referral Hospital where she had been hospitalized for some time.

She has been the party deputy president since Bobi Wine’s camp took over the National Unity Platform serving with Mathias Mpuuga for Central Region who was suspended recently, Dr Lina Zedriga of Northern Uganda and opposition Chief Whip also Manjiya county legislator John Baptist Nambeshe who is the party’s deputy president for Eastern Uganda.
It’s with great sadness that I announce the passing of Hon. Jolly Mugisha, the National Unity Platform Deputy President for Western Uganda.
