At the launch we expect representatives of over 10,500 Beneficiary SACCOs to be represented and the Chief Guest is expected to be H.E. The President of the
Republic of Uganda, Senior Government Officials and Several players in the Parish Development Model.
The PDM EXPO 2024 will be a full-month campaign that will culminate into a three-day EXPO expected to take place in Mbale City starting Tuesday 16th to Thursday 18th April 2024.
The event is expected to bring all PDM Beneficiaries, value addition solution providers, financial institutions, management information system providers, agriculture farming input providers and all players in the PDM value chain to showcase, discuss challenges and forge a way forward towards the success of PDM and the country’s economic development.
The first day Tuesday 16th April 2024, of the event will have the Guest of Honor is expected to open the PDM EXPO 2024 with a tour of the exhibition space. That will be followed by a conference and speeches from a cross-section of stakeholders in Government and the private sector.
The second day Wednesday 17th April 2024 There will be a PDM Expo Financial Literacy Conference is open the exhibition will continue with several expected and several promotional activities happening around the exhibition area. for sponsorship.
The third day Thursday 18th April 2024, Anniversary Day, The Guest of Honor H.E The President is expected to launch both the PDM Expo Magazine and Documentary, but to also close the event officially.
Why as a Company, SACCO owners, Banks, farm input producers and sellers among other players in the agriculture value chain should be part of the PDM Expo 2024.
Sensitizing the public about the PDM project, objectives and how to participate, Providing a platform to market goods and services under the PDM and Causing mindset change in Uganda towards commercial production vs production for consumption.
The PDM Expo 2024 will further provide a platform for promoting value addition, enhancing networking and coordination around the Government PDM development strategy and supporting PDM beneficiaries’ network with producers and suppliers of machinery for adding value to their products.
The PDM Expo will also further provide a platform to market SACCO products and link them to the highly needed market. The PDM Expo will also put the spotlight on the challenges and success stories of the PDM after two year and encouraging and building trust in the PDM project.
