Word on the street has it that a famous minister has abandoned his wife of 15 years and settled with a side chic. He is Mangaliso Ndlovu, Zimbabwe’s Environment minister and Zanu-PF Matabeleland South Chairman.
He’s accused of abandoning his family this past Sunday and moving in with his new chic said to be a young lady he met which she on her internship at the tourism ministry. Ndlovu and his family have a home in Montgomery in Bulawayo, another city in Zimbabwe where his wife Gugulethu Ndlovu Nee Mpofu currently lives with their two daughters.
Reports suggest that Ndlovu instructed police officers guarding his residence to withdraw and instead deploy to his new place where his new catch resides. In Zimbabwe, Ministers are provided security of a maximum of two properties-their official houses in the city Harare and second property of their choice, typically a farm or primary residence outside the city.
A source privy to this development told iHarare News that “He now stays with his lover in Harare, at the new house he recently received from the government. He has abandoned his family in Bulawayo”
The minister’s love has been named as Precious Vimbai Matsinde who now has a child with him. She was a student on attachment at the tourism ministry while he was still minister there and they immediately hit it off. She was there barely two months, because she arrived at the end of her industrial attachment period”-a source said
Ndlovu is the son of Zanu-PF Matebeleland South Senator Richard Ndlovu has been married to his wife for over 15 years.
